What else to know~
The prize is $300 worth of glass art. In general, a stained glass piece around 1.5 square feet with a simple design can fit within that budget. I like to think of it like a jigsaw puzzle—if the piece is slightly larger, the design needs to have fewer pieces to stay within budget. (See below for some samples.)
If your vision is of a larger or more complex window, the $300 can be applied towards the overall cost.
Should you decide you don’t want a custom glass piece, you may opt for a $300 gift certificate from Paradise Glass.
If you are the winner, we will talk through how to best translate your design into glass. That may result in some changes or modifications.
As the artist, I reserve the right to decline any submission I find offensive or inappropriate. Have questions or want to discuss? Feel free to reach out!

What does $300 worth of stained glass look like?
There are so many options in terms of design and size! But here are a few samples.
A simple design like this measuring 14” x 16” is approximately $300.
A slightly more complex design like this that measures 12” x 12” would be approximately $300.
Think 3-D! A small jewelry box can be in the $300 price range.
A transom, depending on the size and complexity, can often cost around $400.
