Freshly installed! My husband and I went into New York City this morning to install these three windows. When I first spoke with my clients in July, they didn’t mention it but they had been considering moving from their beautiful Upper West Side apartment. During the design process, they reached out with a request— they had decided they were going to put their apartment on the market and wanted to know if I could rush the process so the windows would be finished when they listed it. I was working on a different commission at the time but spoke to that client and made arrangements with her to shift things around. Knowing that my NYC clients were waiting on the installation, I worked as fast as I could to get them done. When I reached out earlier this week to say they were ready, we made plans to start the Labor Day weekend off with an installation. As with most windows I create, my husband and I installed them to look like they’d been there forever but used hardware that will allow for their easy removal should my client, or the new homeowner, wish. When we finished installing them, my clients said they wished they had commissioned them a long time ago so they could enjoy them for a longer time.
